And I have no compass
And I have no map
And I have no reasons
No reasons to get back
And I have no religion
And I don't know what's what
And I don't know the limit
The limit of what we've got

Fucking awesome lyrics.

Ian McCulloch the U2 fan:
"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

I've only heard one of the live performances of Zooropa, but I thought they might have left that bit out either cos they didn't want to plug those companies, or the companies wouldn't let them...?

"Uncertainty could be a guiding light" is another one of my very favourite U2 lyrics.

No, they actually wouldn't have a problem with live performances - if anywhere would pose problems, it's actually the studio version. Hence how Bono gets away with snippets and other references all the time live, but they are avoided on official releases.
