Oh, it's one of those Canadian workplace safety ads. :yikes:

Those are really freaky - the restaurant one in your link is the worst.

In school they made us watch this during a WSIB presentation for co-op...so scary.

I know. the restaurant one came on while I was eating dinner :(

goodbye appetite.

I think they are fantastic though. Three great young people I know were all killed in seperate workplace accidents. If these ads can prevent another death, I don't mind losing my appetite more often.

Holy shit.

That was unexpected.

Hopefully they don't show it during times kids might be watching...I would have seriously gotten a nightmare if I'd seen that when I was little.

ooooh, someone's gonna come in here and tell you guys off for laughing at serious things:shifty:

we've had those sort of ads in Australia for years. They're shocking at first but they lose their impact pretty quickly. Ours are mostly about not being an idiot on the roads.

a wood chipper one would be pretty impressive though, anyone remember Fargo:giggle: :uhoh: :yuck:

That took me aback for almost a whole minute.

Although I'm a rock emotionally, so I got over it.

Still ... I'd say it's effective. I'm not quite sure the point, but it's saying something,

It looked so fake with the sound off, but the screaming definitely put it over the top. :yikes:

Well at least she will be able to find out if her fiance truly loves her.
I mean a relationship should not be based on looks alone but inner beauty.
