Oh, the humanity!

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...food_banana_dc

I move that we all start a 'save the bananas' campaign. Who wants to make the pins that have a banana as the mouth of a smilie face, and who wants to print the tshirts? Think of the sociopolitical ramifications ! Little Timmy may become an axe murderer because he didnt get his dessert as a kid. Banana split? Not anymore! (also, Banana split? they sure are! - potential campaign slogan) Fruit cocktail will be that much less fruity. No more banana based jokes.

This is a sign of the apocalpse... Wheres my bomb shelter... :terror:

hi everyone, im not back, but hi nonetheless

Wow, with no bananas, ecosystems will be affected.

But then you could run into potential problems with genetically engineered bananas.

I'm trying to be serious, but everything I type on this subject sounds silly

Whats it aboot Mona?

Apparently they tried making a gentically modified banana that tasted like an apple and it sounded quite tasty to me because I hate munching through those apples for hours on end

I try to eat a banana if I know I am going to be running in the day. It contains good source of potassium and they say that helps prevent cramping in the muscles.

I never have liked bananas, maybe I'll start a campaign to wipe them out as soon as possible.

I hate banananananananas but our primate friends love them and we already fuck with them enough. I hope we save them for all the chimps of the world.
