I must say that Hendrix was not a very good songwriter though. Electric Ladyland is about half filler, and one of its best songs was something he didn't even write. The other two albums by the Experience are good, but have nothing on Zeppelin's best.

I find most of Zeppelin's work to be a little to in-your-face for my taste, as well as a little derivative (plus they stole the basic ideas for about half of their songs on the first album from more obscure blues artists, so no fair playing the cover card on Hendrix :wink:). I also consider Electric Ladyland to have little to no filler aside from the intro and maybe Little Miss Strange. It's a classic album, man. A CLASSIC! "1983.." is amazing.

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree, though. When in Rome..
