Official Chill-Out Music Thread

I wanted to start a thread for my newfound obsession with "chillout," to share some of my findings and gather info from others...would that be all right?

In addition to my recent forays into Zero 7 and Massive Attack, I picked up Bjork's most recent CD today, Vespertine. While I was vaguely familiar with her older work, I think this CD is more of a departure and reminded me of Post-era Bjork blended with Massive Attack.

Also: does anyone know anything about a band called Supreme Beings of Leisure? I got one of their CDs in late 2000 and have never heard of them since.

I really like the one I have - I think it has some Badly Drawn Boy, Sigur Ros, Radiohead, a song by "a man called adam" , in addition to the groups you mentioned.

SiSe...a friend of mine had her CD. Isn't she Brazilian or something? I know not all of the songs on the CD were in English.

Carol C, the lead singer is from the Dominican Republic and part Arab. The band is from NYC, but the members are quite diverse. I think one of the viola players is from England. I love "Dolemite".
