Well, I just wanted to to express my love for the month of October.
Now, for most Canadians, October means leaves turning bright red and orange and crisp winds signalling that winter is near.
But for me, while I am not fond of the cold weather, it's tolerable because in October we have the convergence of the four major North American sports—and I love it!
The National Football League is a third of the way done and the Canadian Football League has a few games left before the playoffs.
Speaking of playoffs, Major League Baseball begins their playoff season, arguably the most exciting time to be a baseball fan.
After a short summer The National Hockey League is in full swing and the National Basketball Association begins their pre-season games.
Throw in American college football and the last few races of Formula One and for a sports fan it's almost too much to bear! Some days I don't even know where to begin.
