Dexy's Midnight Runners -- Come On Eileen

on a very old SNL which is showing now. A fun song.

And now back to my regular listening:

Steve Kilbey -- Shell

Oh my gosh, I didn't know U2 did a song called that, Fly, where did you get it, what c.d.?

Jesus Christ can be found on the compilation Folkways: A Vision Shared. It's a tribute album to Woody Guthrie and Leadbelly.

me:Elvis Costello - 45
(from When I Was Cruel)

into: Spooky Girlfriend

Smokie Robinson And The Miracles - Don't Let It End ('Til You Let It Begin)
(from The 35th Anniversary Collection)

U2 - Yahweh (Alternate Version)
(another MP3 from the 'Net)

The quality really isn't good enough to hear whether or not the song/version is any good.

U2 - Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own (Alternate Version)

I like it but I really miss the falsetto part. This version shows how that part is essential to the song. This version really feels like something from the Achtung Baby sessions, reminds me of WGRYWH.

U2 - Love You Like Mad
(another horrible sounding MP3 from the 'Net which I will delete after I've listened to it once)

I never heard of Flower Child before, I don't have U2's rare singles.

It's on the rare and unreleased tracks from the U2 iPod!

U2 - Streets Missions

Sounds like The Sex Pistols a little I think. I love the riff and the drums! They could have reworked this song and tried to put it on HTDAAB.
