Norton or McAfee Antivirus?

I need to get better antivirus software for my computer. I have a cable modem so I'm online virtually all the time. Any thoughts/opinions about which is better? Thanks!

I've never used Norton, but I can tell you that Harvard University distributes McAfee anti-virus freely, and that the W32.Klez worm has been going wild over the Harvard network for the last six months or so.

my computer came with McAfee, wasn't working too well for me, so I installed Norton instead which has worked much better (though not perfectly)

McAffee does indeed suxx0rs. I've tried to uninstall it countless times, so I could get rid of the stupid program, but it says it can't find the uninstall file. Lovely..
