muh2o, you have seen basically everyone...including some I have seen and loved and some I will probably never get a chance to see and want to. I envy you. (Except, did you have Zeppelin on that list?)

Enjoyed:

John Mellancamp-went for free, nosebleed seats, surprsingly it was a fun and engaging show which I enjoyed very much.
Depeche Mode- second best show behind U2
Iggy Pop- he's still tearing everything up
NIN- fragility tour was amazing
Weezer- friggin awesome
King Missle
Sam Rivers
Korn(sometime after the third album, y'know before they sucked)
Rob Zombie- always a fun show, almost makes me want to buy his albums
CAKE
Rolling Stones- fun show, went for 25 bucks and ended up getting a seat with the people who paid hundreds of dollars.
The Usuals
Matchbox Twenty- they opened for Jars of Clay, and blew them away, actually I guees it was back when they were called Matchbox 20.
Wellville- great local-ish band,
Groove Bone- now defunct
Metallica- the load tour
And there's more I can't rmember at the moment, but they'll come to me.

Shows I hated(usually dragged to by friends)
Creed- way back when, they were playing a small local gig, Stapp already had his phony manerisms and that completely turned me off to them. Even back before thier first album he seemed to be locked into tha tmode.
Jars of Clay-boring show, but I think it had a lot to do witht he venue, maybe if I could have sat down and lsitened over some coffee, I would have liked it.
Santana- opened for Rolling Stones, absolutly bored out of my mind, it was so freakign cold too, it was hard to get into it.

I had friends who were into ska, here's a partial list of what I rmember seeing:
Bim Skala Bim
Aquabats
Mighty Mighty Bosstones
and a hundred other fukcing bands that sound almost exactly like the three above.

Festivals I've been dragged to:

Godsmack
Liquid Vinyl
Gum Wrapper Curb(local band, no longer existent, but they were good.)
The Hunger
Full Devil Jacket
Furious George
MK ULTRA
Creed- again, yarg. It was actualyl fun, me and some 6 year old I didn't know were playing soccer with a can while Creed played.
Buck Cherry

And a dozen more I can't remember

SAME OLD STORY- Hardcore American Comedy

oh and Thrid Eye Blind and the Coors who opened the U2 shows I've seen were a disapointment. the Coors especially because I'm a huge fan of PJ Harvey. though I must give credit to the Coors drummer, she was great.

My list is very embarassing. Plus, I envy DiamondPatriot for seeing all those great performers. I've got to get on the ball and move to a city that attracts those big name stars. Unforunately, Oklahoma doesn't get many big names, and I'm not in favor of driving to Dallas or Kansas City everytime big name musicians come into town.

That being said, you'll understand why my concert experiences are kinda lame

Heh.

Yeah, I've been fortunate, but I believe most of these lists are a reflection of how long we've been around (age). Zeppelin would have been a nice addition, but I wasn't of "concert going age" the time they stopped touring.

There's still so many I want/wanted to see. I was fortunate in the mid-80's to have a job that was extremely close to a major concert venue. It's an ampitheater, and the GA lawn tickets were like five dollars, so I saw just about every act, regardless if I liked them or not, it was just a great place to hang out. 50% of them aren't even on this list because I can't remember back that far.

That reminds me:

Culture Club (case in point)

You're right.
Sisters of Mercy are great.
Always wanted to see them. I like "This Corrosion".
Do they still tour?
Diamond

Hi Diamond. Yes, the Sisters still tour quite regularly around Europe and occassionally the States. I saw them at the Astoria in February last year. They played a lot of new stuff so hopefully they'll be a new album this year. I'm not holding my breath though. This Corrosion is a riot live, it's a mass sing-a-long.

Anyway, I dont have much of a list either. I havent had many opportunities to go to concerts. I tried to see The Boss and the Moody Blues in October of '99, but i was so sick that month i wasnt sure i was even gonna make it. Couldnt go.

I'll just bother mentioning that I've seen The Eagles, Chris Issak, and a few others.
