No Doubt Finalize Tour Plans
Band teams with Garbage, Distillers, Good Charlotte and Stones
No Doubt and Garbage have finalized the dates of their fall tour. The joint effort begins on October 15th in West Kingston, Rhode Island. No Doubt, however, will kick off their tour on 9th in St. Paul, Minnesota with Good Charlotte and the Distillers opening. Good Charlotte will join them for two additional shows, October 11th in Chicago and the 14th in University Park, Pennsylvania, before the Distillers and Garbage take over opening act duties for the remainder of the tour, which wraps up on November 27th in San Diego, California.
That line-up is stable with a few exceptions. Three No Doubt dates -- October 12th in Detroit, October 18th in Toronto and October 26th in Atlanta -- are opening gigs for the Rolling Stones. On November 2nd the band plays the Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans, Louisiana without the company of Garbage and the Distillers, and on November 17th and the 19th, No Doubt and the Distillers will play without Garbage.
The tour comes in further support of No Doubt's Rock Steady, which was released late last year. The group will tour Japan and Australia in August before hooking up with Garbage, who are promoting their latest release, Beautifulgarbage.
