NightWish

I got my first taste of their music when I went to Guatemala 2 years ago. I kind of like the operatic metal music. To bad they kicked the lead singer out of the band. Anyone else like them?

Century Child is my fave album. Some great tunes on there. Wishmaster is great too...only liked 'Nemo' off their last album tho.

I only have Wishmaster because that sort of music gets old fast for me. It's very very good though, I saw them live in 2002 I think. They were pretty good and loud, and Tarja has a great stage presence. Too bad indeed that they kicked her out.

Yes Tarja.

A lovely band to listen to on occasion though.

I saw them live, for about 30 minutes. Wasn't my cup of tea, so I split (free show).

I prefer more of the Lacuna Coil sound, like Swamped, Heaven's a Lie (the Comalies CD)

Haven't listened to them, but they are quite popular, and they have a new album 'Heart Of Everything'

Oceanborn is my favourite album of theirs. You might also want to check out Therion as well. Another great operatic metal group.

Me too. Even though The Heart Of Everythign is a step towards the "Evanescence Sound"......"All I Need" is a brilliant song

I'd go and see them in the unlikely event they would tour downunder.
