You can probably tell by my avatar who I support. And if they keep playing like they have been for the past month or so, the cup is theirs again.

I'm very excited about Minnesota being in the playoffs this year. I'd love to catch a game if it's at all feasible. I'm also excited about the possibility of a Detroit vs. St. Louis series, now that Ozzie will be playing against his former team in games that actually mean something. It'll be interesting to see how his friendship with some of the guys on the team holds up, at least during the playoffs...

Speaking of which, Wings vs. Blues in an hour and a half!

I don't know who I'm rooting for in that contest! I think I'll go for the Blues simply because I want the Canucks to fly past the Wings.

man i hate the red wings, i hate how we act like deer stuck in headlights whenever we play them too. they arent that much better than the Blues, its all mental, thats what makes it so maddening. oh well, maybe when twe get Pronger and Tkachuk back things will be different. doubtful, but a guy can dream cant he?

red wings suck, so do all their bandwagon fans, hockeytown my butt.

Ah, I just noticed Forsberg got 5 assists. He's only 1 point behind Naslund now! And Thornton is close behind too. Man, the scoring race is tight! I remember the days when #99 would win the scoring title by 75, 80 points year after year. I don't think we'll see much in the way of running away with the Art Ross again for a long time to come. Not even Mario or Jags can do that anymore.

Forsberg!

I admit, at the beginning of this season I was ragging on him. "Why isn't he producing anything? I thought he'd be on fire after missing all last season!!"

He has proved me wrong. I apolgize for doubting you, Foppa.

Don't bash the Blues... they played well to tie it, they just had some bad breaks with odd first period goals. It was a good game for the first bit... I was a little disappointed by the comeback, but I did gain some respect for the Blues defense.

Watch out Colorado...

Sorry your team lost, Chizip.

Just for the record, though ... I'm just going to go ahead and assume you were not trying to imply that all Red Wings fans are "bandwagon" fans. Yeah.

Well, so much for the Vancouver Canucks having no secondary scoring. I think just about every player on the team was in on the scoring tonight in a 6-0 route of the Washington Capitals. Man, that new kid Brandan Reid is amazing, and fast. Daniel Sedin scored one of the nicest goals of the year, and their powerplay looked as lethal as ever tonight. Alex Auld, their star minor league goalie, even got a shutout! The Canucks are without their starting goalie, Cloutier, again though. He's re-injured his knee. Maybe Auld will have to become their new starter. He has no playoff experience, so it's a bit of a worry. Let's hope Cloutier makes it back soon.

By the way, anyone ever notice the Canucks' theme song as they all step onto the ice? It's 'Where The Streets Have No Name' without the vocal. Talk about a great pre-game pump up song!! It's even better when you're there at GM Place and watch the Canucks skating to it. Kind of makes you think, hey, everything is right in this part of the universe. Can't wait 'till the playoffs!

I did notice that on televised broadcasts... Montreal also used that during the playoffs to start off the night. Most cities have an ample dose of U2 during games.
