Its not laughable to think the organization knew fine well that Brown was putting on a show to get his way out of Oakland. It’s not laughable to think they were aware that he wanted to play there. Come on.

I'm talking about the theory that is out there that Belichick orchestrated the whole thing starting with the trade to the Raiders...that is laughable.

Once it became obvious he was trying to get out of Oaktown, clearly the Patriots got their antennae up (as did Seattle, Dallas and a few other teams)

The refs had themselves some fun in the late games.
Sean Payton loves the refs. And the trifecta of missed calls at the end of the Chicago/Denver game were amusing.
It was bad all day. They called the wrong penalties in the Packers game and the Skins game. They did correct those two calls, though.

if only there was an unsigned quarterback out there with good efficiency numbers who led a team to a super bowl and another one to an NFC championship game within the past seven years...

At this point, does he even make sense? He hasn't played competitive football in years.

Disclaimer - I support him, but just saying...

OBJ making a one handed catch that nobody else could possibly make, followed immediately by his being removed from the field due to an illegal visor, is the most OBJ of OBJ things.
And removing him from the game for an illegal visor after the game has actually started is the most NFL of NFL things.
