Let the fun begin. Chicago franchised Briggs, New England franchised Samuel, and you know with the amount of cap space this year, more will surely come.

One interesting player to watch is Thomas from Baltimore. Unfortunately for the Ravens, they are one team that doesn't have much room under the cap. In fact, I don't believe they have enough to even franchise him right now.

I would love the Patriots to go after him with all the money they have this year. I know he'll command big bucks, and the Pats aren't exactly the team that does that sort of thing, but something tells me they may try to do it with Thomas. I'm sure Belichick liked what he saw during the week in Hawaii.

ESPN got rid of Michael Irvin. No reason given.

Well, he did suck, but I wonder what their real reason is. I never thought he deserved the job or the Hall of Fame because of the way he acted on and off the field.

What recently retired player will replace him? I bet it's Tiki Barber.

Tiki's already got a job with NBC. Rumor has it ESPN was making room for Parcells to come in.

Thank god. I've always found him to be obnoxious.

At least I could understand Michael Irvin, unlike Mushmouth / Shannon Sharpe.

Irvin still has a lot of off-field issues, and so I'm sure that played a part.

Entertained? As a Giant fan, surely you didn't enjoy his scores! If you're talking about his antics, they may have been interesting but he's still an asshole. Worse than TO!

I could really care less one way or the other about Irvin. Bring on free agency and the draft.

There you go.

Although something tells me he didn't know she was pregnant at the time.

But I'm sure you knew that...
