He's been nothing but disappointments for the last 3 years, at least.

Depends, has Troy Smith ballooned to 5'10", 300lbs yet? If so its draft time.

So the Texans have traded for Matt Schaub.

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/4649552.html

Schaub has shown flashes of being a good QB, but let's face it - he's still unproven. Moving down two spots to #10 in the draft probably isn't that big, but giving up a 2nd rounder both this year and next year is a steep price for a career backup.

Bears get Adam Archuleta for 6th round draft pick. Note: Archuleta and Lovie Smith are close from their days on the Rams.
Note 2: Mike Brown is gone
Note 3: Archuleta has a huge contract...

Not sure how it'll all work out for Matt either. I don't think he's as nimble as Carr, and Carr still was sacked 265 times in his 5 year career. Unless Houston shores up it's O-line, no QB is going to succeed there.

Will the Falcons use these new draft picks to trade up and get a Calvin Johnson? I know most experts have them picking Defense, but their ownership and fans desperately want a big time WR.

atlanta traded the wrong QB...

although they'll probably look like they made the right decision next year 'cause johnny unitas couldn't play behind that O-Line.

At least if Houston got Vick, he could have run away from that terrible O-line better.

perhaps this trade will show that it ISN'T all the o-line's fault. After you've been sacked so many times, my guess is it would be very difficult to look downfield if you're worried about a 300 lb man smashing you into the ground.

Must be nice to have never won a game as a starter and get a 6 year $48 million deal
