Over the years, the Giants have played well enough to make the playoffs, but usually were eliminated in the first round. This year, I expected the same thing, but was happily surprised when they kept winning. The Giants have been riding the momentum wave since they last played the Pats. Now, with the two week layoff, it will definitely be a challenge to keep that momentum going. If the Giants win this Super Bowl, obviously, it will be a huge upset. Like Douglas over Tyson in 1990 or the Jets over the Colts in Super Bowl III. I'm not going to make any predictions. I just want to see an entertaining football game. If the Giants win, the underdog prevails. If the Pats win, we'll have witnessed the greatest team in NFL history.

Of course, what they tried in the fourth quarter didn't work, either.
So what you're saying is, there is no great defensive strategy when playing the Pats?

Unless you can drop 8 guys back and somehow manage to get copious amounts of pressure with your 3 linemen.

ok let's just get something straight... nobody can guard randy moss one on one. in fact ALL secondary's are at a distinct disadvantage against most reicevers.

the packers have "great" corners... they certainly didn't look great last night. is it because they aren't good all of a sudden? of course not... the packers couldn't get to Eli, so he had all the time in the world. leave a corner out on an island and he will get burned more often than not. get to the quarterback and anyone can look like a pro bowler.

So we're agreed then? Giants are toast unless they can get a pass rush going.

NEXT QUESTION!

Only the Giants. I've been following the team since Ray Perkins was the coach.

This was to me the most important thing the Giants did last night.

But I still think Eli is a spoiled little brat. I always will. Simply because he didn't want to play for the team that drafted him.

It isn't just him. Kobe did it to the Hornets, Steve Francis did it to the Grizzlies...I don't like them either. Sure you earn your way into professional sports. But it seems to me a spoiled little brat thing to do.

Yeah, something like that.
