you think Parcells would be amused by this if he were still coaching?

So no, this is nowhere near on the level of the Patriots' cheating, even if it is found that the Colts are guilty.
Agreed. Not all cheating is the same. There is a difference between spiking the opponent's gatorade with psychoactive drugs and chop blocking.

C'mon...if anyone here who is a Pats fan makes mention of the officiating, you'll be the first to claim that person is whining.
(Thats true hypocrisy )

That would be a hell of a funny game to watch, though

Thanks for making assumptions about my character!

The 2006 Skins looked like they had a mickey slipped into their collective martini before every game. Not the same thing, but you know...

Incorrect. Jonathan Kraft, who was at the game, mentioned it to the NFL official on site right after the game.
So there is some legitimacy to the story...but in the end all that'll happen if there's any irregularities found will be a warning/cease and desist type order.

Let's just hope Belichick doesn't secretly read these forums. If so, I guarantee he's looking for a 10-sheet acid deal right about now.

Its based on past behavior, with a scientific relevency of 98.54%, so its not much of a leap.

Yeah, the owner's son, president and COO of the ownership group couldn't possibly have any ulterior motives

I saw that, and have got to figure the fans at the Linc could not have been terribly amused. Tony better watch out if Philly ever becomes good again.

Normally I'd respond to this, but I won't bother stooping to veiled personal attacks to bring myself to your level.

So then we must also discredit Eric Mangini's actions against the Pats in week 1, no?

Yeah that was a real personal attack.

Please.

CBS TAKES BLAME FOR SOUND GLITCH

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that CBS has taken responsibility for the bizarre sound glitch that has prompted speculation that the Colts were caught red-handed in the act of piping phony crowd noise into the RCA Dome.

Per Schefter, the vibrating sound as the Pats were driving at the start of the fourth quarter was the result of tape feedback in the CBS production truck. Schefter says that the sound could not be heard in the stadium.

We've spoken to some radio folks who also believe that the phenomenon was not the result of a glitch during the use of artificial crowd noise.

Oh well. Controversy is a lot juicier. But even when the truth isn't sexy, we've still got to respect it.
