New Year's Resolutions

I just thought about this today, actually. I'm going to make a concentrated effort to get better at taking the daily medication I've been prescribed.

May not sound like much, but I've discovered in the last several years - since I've been prescribed daily doses of medication - that I really abhor taking pills. I don't mind taking an Advil or whatever when I have a headache or some Nyquil when I've got a cold, but there's something about the 'scripted meds that I just get completely bullheaded about. So anyway, taking my pills like I should & using the damn treadmill staring at me from the corner of my bedroom every day - those are the 2 major resolutions I'm making. :slant:
 
For the 7,235th time, I'm going to resolve to hit the gym at least three times a week.

The over/under is currently at January 13th. :|
 
One year, i made a resolution to not eat pork, that was 15 years ago, and i havent had any since.
Another year, i made a resolution not to eat anything with sugar...no candy, cake, cookies, pie, soda, etc.
That year i went 363 days without a single bit of any of those.
I only broke because i went into surgery and had to eat Jello.
I still hardly eat any sugar, so thats not a problem.
I am actually pretty good with sticking to my resolutions.
I think this year, that ill make a resolution to stop saying 'fuck'so much.
I really say it more then i should.
Also, to watch more porn.

I don't like resolutions and avoid making them, but hypothetically


Spend less time here. It's best for my well being to avoid, sometimes I really can't believe what I observe and read. Or maybe I can and that makes it even worse...

Be more productive in several ways

Be less sensitive to the nastiness and rudeness of others

Remember the hard lessons I've learned and be less gullible about people

Continue to work on ignoring and avoiding people who get on my nerves and are offensive to me, surround myself with and interact with people who don't

Take better care of my health and appearance

Appreciate as much as I can, who knows what can happen

I already gave up diet soda and lost weight because of it, so at least that's something :shrug:

I made massive, scary, positive changes to my life in 2006. Staying focused to not repeat the same mistakes is my goal this year. It was a shitty year but I'm stronger than I've ever been.

As well as taking better care of myself.

I tend not to make resolutions, but I really want to try to eat better and exercise more.

I think I said the same thing last year.

And the year before that.

And the year before that.

And here I am ... scarfing down the cookie my office secret santa left me.

Meh.
 
  • Drink more
  • Do gooder in school
  • Try to stop being selfish, will put it in my pelvis
 
get on a regular sleep schedule
do better in school
go to the gym 3x a week
not watch 24 until the season and semester are over (that's the first one i'm breaking, btw)
waste less time online, block some websites
