I've been wanting to check Xiu Xiu out for the last two years and simply have never pulled the trigger on buying one of their albums. I've heard Fabulous Muscles is the one to get. Recommendations?

A Promise is better and I think that La Foret is at least slightly more accessible.

The only two essential albums, either way, are A Promise and Fabulous Muscles.

yeah! great news, this is so Xiu Xiu, they (or he...) release an album every year, and always is great

(my fav: Fabulous Muscles, I just don't own Fag Patrol... but is a split or something)
