After a month and a half of listening to this album, I have to say that for me it kinda falls somewhere in between Scarlet's Walk and The Beekeeper... Scarlet's Walk being better of course! That said, if The Beekeeper was reduced to say, a 12 or 14 track album, my opinion might change. There are certain songs on Beekeeper that I still absolutely adore like Original Sinsuality, title track, Martha's Foolish Ginger, Marys Of The Sea and Toast which I consider equal to or maybe even greater than the high points of Doll Posse. I think ADP is more consistent throughout but BK has some terrific high points. Anyway, overall if I was forced to choose I'd go with ADP... I think.

This is in my opinion a much tighter Beekeeper:

1. Original Sinsuality
2. Sleeps With Butterflies
3. The Power Of Orange Knickers
4. Jamaica Inn
5. Barons Of Suburbia
6. General Joy
7. Parasol
8. Mother Revolution
9. Cars And Guitars
10. Ireland
11. Martha's Foolish Ginger
12. The Beekeeper
13. Mary's Of The Sea
14. Toast

That would be a much tighter Beekeeper, Zoots. My only switch might be to take off Cars and Guitars and add Sweet the Sting, which I like quite a bit.

I'm still not sure where ADP fits into my opinion of Tori's career overall. I haven't been listening to it as much lately, but I'm sure I'll come back to it after a while. And usually that's when I realize how much I do or don't really like something.

I thought about the exact same switch! But Sweet The Sting bores me a little sometimes even though it sounds almost sexy in parts. And Cars and Guitars has got some funky beat boxing type thing going at the beginning not to mention I love how she sings the chorus! So I went with that one.

I think one of the biggest reasons I like Sweet the Sting is that it's one of the few Tori songs where I can sing pretty much every note! That woman's range is hard to match!

"So many of the letters I get from fans include stories of how they've met some of their closest friends at one of my shows. I love that they've created this network. It inspired the idea of creating an online place outside of the tour where my fans could get to know each other and hang out and once in a while I can pop in and say hello. This seemed like a fun way to do both." -- Tori Amos, www.toriamos.com

I live in the sixth largest city in the country, yet all the big shows have been skipping us, including this one.

Everyone skips Abq.

The question is, is this tour road trip worthy? Late November in Denver? Sooo iffy weather-wise.

But she often does multiple legs and comes back around later in the tour. Maybe, maybe not.
