Tori Amos kicks up her "Legs and Boots"

Many of the shows on Tori Amos' "American Doll Posse Tour" will be available online at www.toriamos.com for digital download within the few hours of each show's completion. Last night's concert in Philadelphia at the Tower Theatre was the first show to become available online.

This follows Tori's successful series of six live double-CD bootlegs released in 2005, featuring concerts from Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Denver, London and Manchester.

In order to provide the best possible quality audio and options, all shows released will be made available as high-quality MP3s (256K), and as even higher quality FLAC files. For Tori, making FLAC files available was crucial, "for those of us into audio pornography it gives me great pleasure to give the online audience "Legs and Boots," and with these I endeavor to give you the ultimate sonic climax."

Complete shows in MP3s will be available for $9.99 and FLAC will be $14.99. The shows will be available for download in the MP3 format in the hours following the performance. FLAC versions, because of their dramatic size increase, will be available 4-6 days after each performance. To avoid forcing FLAC purchasers to wait for their downloads, you'll be given the MP3 format files upon purchasing to tide you over.

You can pre-buy any show and set the software to "automatically download when available."

:hmm:

Am I the only one who's hearing these lyrics from Almost Rosey...

Why do they say
Have a nice day anyway

as

Why Tina Fey
Have a nice day anyway

?

:reject:

pssst...

(For instance, I kept hearing "Tina Fey" in "Almost Rosey" and it was driving me crazy--I knew it couldn't be right although I thought "Oliver Stone" couldn't be right on SW either. )

:lmao:

I've heard the Tina Fey line too but not that often cause I kinda hate Almost Rosey. On the other hand I hear "you said you'd wait 'til I'm fat" in Bouncing Off Clouds. Something tells me that's wrong.

 Tori has weird pronunciations sometimes. In "Horses" my friend for years thought she was saying, "I bought me samosas to write on, to write on..."

Oh, by the way, a couple of weeks ago I was in a very small airplane, a little 4-seater, and the pilot who doesn't know Tori Amos from a hole in the ground, pointed at the clouds and said, "Look at 'em. You could bounce off 'em." Yes, he did.

Wow.

What was so hilarious about that was that he never questioned why the song was called "Horses." Probably because he never knows song titles, just track numbers.

Yeah.. some people don't bother about song titles like us hardcore music crazies do.

Like on In Rainbows (sorry...going from this thread to that on constantly) I told him I loved All I Need and he said, "I don't know that one yet but track 5 is my favorite."

Okay, I guess my friend sounds crazy now. :slant:

The Farmer's Almanac predicts a blizzard the week of my show which does not bode well for a road trip.

Setlist. :waiting:

Nooo :( You must make it through the sleet and driving snow across the fields of morning lights in the distance.. just to see Tori!

:combust: Those are 2 of my fav songs not only from Pink but her whole discography!

What's T&Bö btw? I had no idea why it was superimposed like that during the show. :reject:

I hadn't listened to Baker Baker in years :reject: so when she started it I was in tears. It's such an emotional song and it just hit me last night.

No idea re T & Bo... I hadn't read anything about the tour save for this thread up to this point.

Next tour I am definitely catching her again. Definitely one of the more electric performers I have ever seen live.

:applaud:

Horses
Baker Baker
Cloud on My Tongue
Siren
Honey

These are all songs I never seem to get when I've seen her.
:combust:

I assume "T & Bo" means Tori solo with Bosey (Bosendorfer, the piano).
