Fantastic album. I'm not exactly shocked by that, but definitely pleasantly surprised.

The band has stretched themselves successfully, James Mercer's vocals are better than ever, there's some jamming on Sea Legs, and all I can say is WOW! One of the best of 2007, assuredly.

Sea Legs is really the best Shins song I've heard. I can't stress that enough.

I like it so far too...Sea Legs and Girl Sailor are good but maybe I only noticed them more because you guys mentioned them. I was kind of doing other stuff and had it on in the background so I need to listen again.

and not to get off topic but I just started listening to the metric stuff and I can tell I'm gonna like it

edit: apparently the metric stuff has been out there for fucking ages and i'm just clueless. oh well i still like it
