Of course this is probably a waste of my time since most people here seem to think music that isn't labeled with a "U2," or that doesn't include any member of the band U2, or hasn't been publically approved by U2 sucks...but, the new Chili Peppers cd is awesome. Probably the best cd I've bought since Lateralus last spring. They have matured so much musically and there are several songs on By The Way that I NEVER would have expected...Cabron for example. Upon listening you can really see where Californication was a transition piece between the BloodSugar era and By The Way, with By The Way proving to be an almost complete departure from their signature sounds.
