The band is named for the first note of the musical scale.
They are from Helsinki by way of Paris, or maybe the two band members come from different places.
I don't know how to describe this, as the first song almost sounds like M.I.A.. but then the song (and album) becomes something very eclectic. The female singer sounds like Bjork at times, but less potentially abrasive. It's strange, because the rhythms on some songs are reminding me of Vampire Weekend, which we've been discussing here recently.

I don't know if the album has been released in the States yet, and the band is currently touring Europe.
