Right now I'm listening to the new Lucinda Williams CD (courtesy of netscape music thingie )

I'm also currently looking forward to new stuff from
--Pete Yorn
--Radiohead
--White Stripes
--Third Eye Blind

Anyone else saving their pennies for new music?

Well, I too am looking forward to the new Lucinda record. Fleetwood Mac also has a new one coming out, which is also exciting (for me). And the Uncle Tupelo reissues should also be quite delicious. Oh dear...I think all of those come out on the same day. *stops eating*

When is the Third Eye stuff coming out?

I love those guyz

It was supposed to come out in like September....freakin.... JANUARY. I dunno what's been going on. It was also supposed to be called "Crystal Baller."

But at this point, as far as I know, it's due for release on May 13, titled "Out of the Vein." The first single is called "Blinded (When I see You)"

I've heard snippets here and there. Sounds pretty true to their form. I hope they stay the same but stay GOOD. Their self-titled disc is one I was able to listen to straight-through when I first got it in like 7th grade; I can still do that today (except I don't really feel like listening to all the singles every time...) I didn't like "Blue" as an album as much, but loved quite a few of the songs, and it was still true to them. Other bands that were starting to get noticed around the same time, like MB20 and Goo Goo Dolls and Counting Crows, have been gradually turning to crap. (If you were in middle school or grade school when they were all really big, then you know they were kind of crucial to one's adolesence...I can't spell that word) No one remembers when Goo Goo Dolls were a punk band...and Counting Crows' latest is too poppy in most places. Matchbox 20...well I'm not sure if they were ever actually GOOD. Rob Thomas and the Three Doors Down singer want to be one another now. And no one knows that Three Doors Down started as a Metallica cover band... BUT ANYWAY.

Looking forward to something new from Mr. Jenkins :D

The new White Stripes album comes out on April 1st...I need to get it so I know their new material when I see them on the 16th!

New Radiohead
New Bouncing Souls
New Outkast
New New Pornnographers
New Grandaddy
New White Stripes (rollingstone just gave it 5 stars....)
New 1 million other bands albums I'll end up buying that I dont know about right now
