It's been on the news here all day. Seems that according to the UVF, a Catholic man who plays for Celtic can't also play for his country for fear of being murdered. I agree with you, Lara - it's sickening

he was very right to retire.
theres no way i could play for a country which had people in it who would seriosly want to take my life.
its sickening the way that the issues a lot of people play sports to get away from, have infiltrated the football pitch.
hopefully not the shape of things to come
