Sheesh..if anyone wanted to make a disc of songs with the word blue you could end up with a kick arse cd...
You know Electric Blue mofo? That is unreal!

The Beatles have a song called 'Anna', its all I can think of that hasn't been mentioned.

It's a cover of an Arthur Alexander song, I think. Speaking of the Beatles, though, anyone mention "Martha, My Dear"?

Hello,

After a good night's sleep, these are some others I come up with.

disc 1:
Bob Dylan - Maggie's Farm
Bob Dylan - Queen Jane Approximately
Bob Dylan - Oh Angelina
Bob Dylan - Sara
Bob Dylan - Suze (The Cough Song)
(Bobby D. wrote so many excellent songs, his list has to be long)
Everly Brothers - Wake Up Little Susie
Randy and the Rainbows - Denise
Bruce Springsteen - Mary Queen Of Arkansas (not my favourite Bruce track but it's another Mary)
Bruce Springsteen - Cynthia
Bruce Springsteen - Rosalita
Bruce Springsteen - 4th Of July, Asbury Park (Sandy)
The Police - Roxanne
Michael Jackson - Billy Jean
Michael Jackson - Dirty Diana
Therapy? - Diane
The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Wind Cries Mary
Nirvana - Polly
Nirvana - Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge On Seattle
The Beatles - Eleanor Rigby
The Beatles - Hey Jude
Beach Boys - Caroline No
Ike & Tina Turner (or Creedence Clearwater Revival) - Proud Mary
Emmylou Harris (& Dave Matthews) - My Antonia
Falco - Jeannie
Tom Petty - Mary Jane's Last Dance
Neil Diamond - Sweet Caroline
Crowded House - Catherine Wheels
Jeff Buckley - Grace (it's the name of a girl...)
Ryan Adams - Sylvia Plath
Bruce Springsteen - Bobby Jean

OK, that's enough for now. I wonder if I can find some original colours...

disc 2:
Prince - Purple Rain
Coldplay - Green Eyes
Pearl Jam - Green Disease
Dire Straits - Fade To Black
Gavin Friday - Little Black Dress
The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Purple Haze
The Velvet Underground - Black Angels Death Song
The Velvet Underground - White Light/White Heat
Kraftwerk - Neon Lights
Roy Orbison - Blue Bayou
Texas - White On Blonde

I have to go now, but I keep thinking about it!

Marty

You guys are great! Thanks a lot. You've added a ton for me to consider. Coming up with a disc of 18 really strong songs should be pretty easy now. Keep em coming if you think of any more.
