I'll go ahead and answer my own question.

Here's the definition:
Quote:
Level II: The Stomach Punch. Definition: Now we've moved into rarefied territory, any roller-coaster game that ends with A) an opponent making a pivotal (sometimes improbable) play, or B) one of your guys failing in the clutch ... usually ends with fans filing out after the game in stunned disbelief, if they can even move at all ... always haunting, sometimes scarring ... there are degrees to the Stomach Punch Game, depending on the situation ... for instance, Sunday's Kings-Lakers game and Monday's Celts-Nets game featured agonizing endings, but they weren't nearly as agonizing as Cleveland's Earnest Byner fumbling against Denver when he was about two yards and 0.2 seconds away from sending the Browns to the Super Bowl).
I had a hard time deciding if this was a Dead Man Walking or a Stomach Punch, but I'm going to have to go with the latter. The whole "stunned disbelief, if they can move at all ... always haunting, sometimes scarring" thing fits the bill. Not to mention that final shot may have single-handedly won a championship.

Let's go Pistons! Pleeeeeeeeeease!

YES!!!!!

WE'RE GOING TO GAME 7!!!!!

WE GOT ONE IN SA, ALL WE NEED IS ONE MORE!!

Now it's come down to one game, ONE game, between the two best teams in basketball, for the world championship. Thursday night is the game every basketball player lives for.

Game 7. Thursday night. Anything can happen. Winner takes all.

The Pistons committed five turnovers for the game, tying the old Finals record that they had broken in Game 4.

I'm still rooting for the Spurs. Couldn't believe they pull it out in game 5, and just lost it in game 6. Only caught the last 2 quarters of game 6, but it was close until the last few minutes of the 4th. So now would it be a nail-biter type of situation we're going to?

Wondering if the Lakers will ever make it back to a play-off team...

As much as I hate anything Piston-related these days, I got to give recognition to a team that played great yesterday...

Where the hell were all the Spurs role-players? Only Ginobili and Duncan showed up yesterday! No one else... not the right attitude for a series-clincher game.

I still have my hopes up high for Game 7 and I do not care if someone has to break Rip Hamilton's mask

seriously.

FREDDY MERCURY and the NBA.

He seems more appropriate for the WNBA.
