Dirk disappeared again! Warriors are on to the next round. Unbelievable. I guess I'll have to keep my cozy spot on the Warriors bandwagon.

Kudos to the best crowd in the NBA. On their feet the whole second half! They deserve this victory after a dismal 13 years without playoff basketball.

Go Warriors!

crazy upset. I can't believe they could fall apart like that after an outstanding season.

most likely patella tendonitis... aka "jumpers knee"

common nagging basketball injury, along with shin splints and plantar faciitis. play long enough and you're almost gauranteed to develop at least one of these three at some point.

normaly those who have it wear a strap like brace under the knee cap. a guy i used to play with could never get the damn thing to stay on without falling off so the trainer would take it on. i imagine that's what's going on here.

After this, you can bet that Dirk's MVP bid has come to an end- congratulations, Steve Nash.

considering that the MVP is a regular season award and the voting is concluded before the start of the playoffs, this loss will have zero effect on wether or not dirk beats out nash for mvp.

thanks teach, but i did notice a spelling error... "take" instead of "tape"

minus 2 points... it's a 98 instead of 100.

i've only personally had shin splints... not of the owie my shins hurt variety that goes away after a couple of days... rather the fuck my shins feel like someone smacked me in the leg with a 2 by 4 30 times variety that didn't go away for months and still bother me from time to time.

a trainer thought i was developing tendonitis at one point but the pain would come and go so who knows.

no feet problems to report, but my right index finger is permanently tilted slightly to the right from being jammed so many times. good times, good times.

I had to tape my knees like that b/c of pain. I also had to wear Hakeem Olajuwon knee pads for a while b/c of bruises and some sort of calcium build up in my knee. If I would dive to the ground, my knee would hit and my leg would go numb from the knee down.

What do I mean by Hakeem Olajuwon knee pads?
