That's how I feel watching Durant play from the first 10 rows every home game.
Dwight Howard is Bill Russell on steroids, no... on speed, no... on crack.

The Boston Celtics are the front-runner to land Memphis center Pau Gasol. The Celtics are dangling talented young forward Al Jefferson and several draft picks. Memphis is desperately trying to cut costs.

Anyway, Grizz had a big win last night, moving closer to overtaking the Celts.

My dad and I were watching it, then rewound it with TiVo, and still couldn't find where he hurt himself.
NEW YORK, Jan. 30, 2007 – Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers has been suspended one game without pay for striking San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili in the face, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred on Sunday, Jan. 28 with 2.7 remaining in the fourth period of the Lakers 96-94 (OT) loss to the Spurs at Staples Center. Bryant will serve his suspension tonight when the Lakers play the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

i would get a chuckle if danny ainge made a very isiah like move and traded away his shot in the oden sweepstakes for pao gasol, a nice player, don't get me wrong, but not someone who can carry a franchise.
it would certainly be a good swan song for The Logo.

My ideal package would be: Tyrus, PJ Brown, Duhon, NYK Pick(Top 2 Protected) FOR Gasol.

So then I take it you don't think Chicago should trade away their piece in the oden sweepstakes(swap option w/NYK) for Gasol either? In Chicago, Gasol would be more the last piece in a puzzle than a guy meant to carry the whole team on his shoulders.
I dunno, I think The Logo is asking for too much for Gasol. I've heard rumors stating that he wants one of Gordon or Deng, PLUS one of Hinrich, Nocioni, Tyrus, or Thabo.
At this point, I think I'd rather include the pick in a Gasol trade than Deng or Gordon...they've both been playing veeeery well.
My ideal package would be: Tyrus, PJ Brown, Duhon, NYK Pick(Top 2 Protected) FOR Gasol.

Hewson said:Lloyd Braun may be the only guy who knows for sure.
Headache in a Suitcase said:i loved how greg anthony was talking about how the league shouldn't have suspended him because of kobe's spotless reputation... yea. spotless... other than the alleged rape, complete out of controll ego that drove apart a championship team and being called a whiney little bitch by his coach in a book, he's done absolutely nothing to deserve a spotty reputation.
and it's not like he's swung his arms at another player's face before...

yea... come to think of it, kobe's never done anything like that before. why would the nba think he did it on purpose? for shame...

He clearly pisses off The Mamba, which makes him one of my favorite players to watch.

A well rested, angry Kobe. (Rumor is he elbowed a cab driver on the way to the game, a popcorn vendor pregame, Phil Jackson at halftime and the locker room towel boy after the game just to get his quota met)
Next up, the only real hoop team from LA Friday.
Go Clips.
