Unfortunately, what we just saw tonight was the zenith of Jeremy Lin's professional career. Good story right now, and pretty amazing what he did tonight, but it was the peak.

Outdueling the second greatest basketball player ever, on your home court, in the middle of a crazy hot media spotlight, on a Friday night on national TV. It won't get any better for him than this. Ever. I hope he cherishes it.

Perhaps... but, yea. He's had the best stats in his first 4 games as a starter since the NBA/ABA merger... and he fits what his coach does to a T.

And conceivably he should have more space once Amar'e and Carmelo return.

Things just got very interesting for the Knicks.

Amar'e will absolutely love to play with Lin. He is arguably one of the very best pick and roll players out there, and they didn't have anyone in this team who could run a descent one.

Agreed on Amar'e. This is all on Melo though. He has to buy in to sharing and moving the ball for the Knicks to be good, whether Lin keeps up anything close to his current play or completely falls off the face of the earth.
