going against the mainstream and putting them in order...

Coldplay
David Gray
Travis
Smashing Pumpkins
REM
PJ Harvey
Gavin Friday
Esthero
Doves :attn:
Kylie Minogue

(The top 5 are my absolute faves, the bottom can change. They are just a lot of what I happen to be listening too at the moment).

Sting
Police
Neil Finn
Crowded House
Midnight Oil
Led Zeppelin
Radiohead
Jeff Buckley
Simple Minds
Emerson, Lake and Palmer

I suppose I could have grouped Sting/Police and Neil Finn/CH together, but honestly, I always have a hard time getting up to 10 for these things, rather than trying to decide who to leave out. Particularly the last two--I don't listen to Simple Minds or especially ELP a lot these days.

-Kate Bush: Hounds Of Love
-Robert Plant: Dreamland
-Moloko: I Am Not A Doctor
