It shocked me too. It took me ages to work out which one I liked least and it boiled down to Let Down and Electioneering, but I suddenly had a real urge to listen to Electioneering, and I've never felt that way about Let Down....so there ya go

Are you joking!? R.E.M. founded themselves upon the "jangly" guitar sound! All the early R.E.M. albums are BUILT around that sound, and even some of Green and Document.

It's completely the R.E.M. sound.
