Pre-ordered State of Play from amazon, was about to buy the R2 because its so cheap now, but then I saw that BBC is finally releasing it here.

I just picked up Annie Hall today while I was shopping for another DVD which is

The New World!

Finally found a copy of this. I'm extremely pleased.

I bought a much better Miyazaki "black market" collection about 5 years ago. You're missing Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke, and a few other non-Miyazaki Ghibli titles.

I think mine had 12 total, including a Miyazaki-directed music video for some Japanese pop group.

For $15, you could do worse though.

I know it's not complete, but it's a good deal. The others I'll pick up over time.

The Sting, special edition.

God, I love this movie. There's a nice long documentary on disc 2 that has interviews with Redford, Newman, and the others members of the cast.

Maybe the most purely entertaining Best Picture winner in history. Nothing profound, just great storytelling, a peek inside a captivating world, and memorable characters.

I think we need to recast this with Interference, just so we can start calling someone "Kid Twist", "Henry Gondorff", "Doyle Lonnegan", "Johnny Hooker", etc.
