I'd be interested to hear your take on that album... I've found it difficult to get into.

I'm on the last track right now..."Dry Your Eyes" is great...the rest of it...I'm not really sure. I have a feeling it's going to be a grower that I need to throw myself into at the right moment. This could be an album for driving around late at night when I'm not exactly feeling bright.

The Streets - A Grand Don't Come For Free
The Word Magazine - Word Of Mouth (Free CD)
Folk Heritage - Folk Heritage Boxset
Concrete Blonde - Recollected
Your Generation: 18 Punk & New Wave Classics

Thoughts?

I've listened to it a couple more times, and I am definitely convinced that this is a grower. I think its working its charms already.

Somebody stop me, please. :|

Today.
Record fair.
My city.
'Nuff said... :reject:

In the end, it was only 3 CD's:
Joe Cocker - The Very Best Of...
Elvis Costello & The Attractions - Live At The El Mocambo (promo CD)
Eurythmics - Greatest Hits

You can leave your hat on marty :)...buying more music never hurt anyone as far as I know.
eg. my latest purchase( 2nd hand of course) CD

Music of Tibet- Mantras and Chants of the Dalai Lama.

Hub did the :eyebrow: thing when I first put it on, but gingoes, did I have a great experience with one of the tracks. I am now keen to find out more about singing bowls.
www.crystalsoundandlight.com is the site I am about to visit. I hope they aren't too expensive

:scream:

Catatonia - Greatest Hits

It's a limited edition with a bonus CD. All the other copies in the bargain bin didn't have the bonus CD. I think that the track The Ballad Of Tom Jones alone is worth the 5 euro I paid for it. :)

*still wants to hear the original of that track by Randy Newman, cass*

The Shins - 'Fighting In a Sack EP'

I pray that God will bless Sub Pop Records for speedily delivering this to my door. (if only the postman would deliver things from Utah to Arizona this fast....)

the latest albums from Ron Sexsmith, The Solution, A.C. Newman and TV on the Radio
