I recently borrowed the best of The Monkees from a friend on a lark, and was reminded of how amazingly melodic and catchy Daydream Believer is.

Of course I've heard Edge's karioke version, but man, the single production, with the horns in the chorus - it's like the feeling of first love packaged into a song.

What are some of your favourite catchy pop songs?

Springsteen "Hungry Heart"
McCartney, "Let it Be", "Yesterday"
Jackson Browne, "The Pretender", "Doctor My Eyes"

That'll do for now. :D

ABBA - Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!

My guilty pleasure. :reject: That synth is just so catchy.

Jive Talkin - Bee Gees
Melt With You - Modern English
What I Like About You - The Romantics
Wanna Be Startin Somethin - Michael Jackson (he is a weirdo, but it was a great pop song)
Safety Dance - Men Without Hats

:reject:

Here Comes Your Man by The Pixies. The perfect pop song. Made even better by the fact that is was never overplayed.
