My wife caught me several times in the last few months, now encouraging counseling.

It's a rather embarrasing topic but I'm sure most men would understand.

Should I see a counselor at her request to satisfy her demands, or should I only go when and if I feel good and ready to do so with the correct attitude?

What do you guys think ?

Five stars. Five fucking stars.

PS: Do what she says. Counseling (from the right person) is good for you, regardless of its necessity.

It certainly can't hurt to talk to someone, but counselling probably isn't needed unless other aspects of your life are seriously suffering.

Otherwise, every guy on the planet would have to start seeing someone by their 13th birthday.

ETA: I also give this thread five stars. This is the best thread in months.

Follow that advice and she'll be crawling back like a bird on it's belly.

Well guys I haven't decided exactly what I'm going to do here yet.

We disagree whether if it's harmful to the marriage and all.

And I feel no urgency to run off to a stranger or professional to discuss this matter, besides that we sort of had an oral prenupital that she was ok with this practice of mine, prior to our betrothal and marriage, I mean she knew about it.

I will keep you posted as things unfold for those that are interested.

I'd follow the logic of George Costanza:

"If every guy who did that had to go see a psychiatrist ..."

"... Yes?"

"...Whatever."

I feel embarrassed on your behalf, Diamond. Embarrassed you felt the need to share this type of information on a U2 forum.

This is what happens when people make assumptions.
Lara and I have had a amicable relationship on these boards over the years.

And she would be the last person that I would want to dupe, but oh well.

I do appreciate her coming forward as a friend and offering her gentle and firm advice as a friend though, however this isn't a thread about masterbation or looking at pornography- as many have assumed.

Some knowing my cleverness have lurked from the shadows watching this discussion develop.

This is a thread about me seeing U23d eight times within the last 9 weeks, mostly with friends-I went the first time alone making sure it would be a good production.

So my dear friends, do you as u2 fans think I need to see a counselor over this?

Thank you,

<>

Sooo, what did you think I was talking about-that it was "embarrassing" for public discussion on a "U2 Fourm"?
