In my opinion I think it's wrong to say you need counseling. The problem doesn't necessarily lie not with you but with how she internalizes the behavior i.e. what she thinks it says about your relationship.

Incidentally, I read this article a few days ago and figured it may be of use to you:

Brother Phalanx-

Thank you for your advice without judgement or condemnation.

You have a great profile page here too on Interference, I noticed:

Other Bands I like: B.B King, Thin Lizzy, Muse, Buddy Guy, Coldplay, Oasis, Gipsy Kings, anything from Motown, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughan, AC/DC, The Who, Travis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Russian Red Army Choir,

Love your diversity in your taste of music.

You might want to reread this whole thread though.

your friend,

diamond

Maybe you're getting old and can't remember that you just saw it...

Maybe an M.D. would be better than counseling. I think your wife is just concerned, and frankly, I would be too.

I still think counselling shouldn't be ruled out

Yep. If it's not a true confession, isn't it supposed to be locked?

do you walk out of the theatre, see the poster for U23D and think, "I'd really like that, I think I'll just pop in and have a look ". The cycle goes on and on until you walk out the exit without a poster?
