my so called Life

They've started showing the episodes again here in Vancouver on family channel, the show is just as good as I remembered it to be.

i was so excited when i saw they were re-airing the series on the family channel. i loved that show back in the day, and i enjoyed re-watching it now. great writing, great acting, and still relevant ten years later. too bad it only lasted for 19 episodes before being cancelled....

My favorite episode was the Christmas one when Angela goes looking for Ricky on the streets and ends up meeting a runaway girl that turns out to be an angel/spirit. A very touching story line.

it was released on dvd not so long ago, but it's uber-expensive. it's listed on amazon for $86. ouch.

*edit to point out that the $86 one is a used copy. the new ones are going for $175.

I've never heard of/seen this show.

What's it all about?

I really liked that show! I used to watch it when it was first on. I even wathced the re-runs on MTV. It was the only television series that came close to show what being a teenager was all about and growing up in the 90's! It reminds me of my own teenage years. My favorite episode is the Halloween one (where they break into the school) and the one with the high school dance. I really have to say: Jordan (Jared Leto) is hot!! I think the price is a bit steep though. I still have my Buffy and Angel DVDs to collect before I get this set.
