so my birthday was over a month ago and my parents didn't forget but were to busy flying around the world to come and see me at school so they let me pick out my birthday present--i got a nomad 2 mp3 player with an 128mb card to boot. can't wait to listen to U2 tommorow morning on my walk along the rideau canal in the fall.
yay me.

no certainly not. i was raised with family dinners and my dad attending everyone of my soccer games over 10 years(and most of the practices, and no he never berated me with what i should have done, he let me play and gave me some advise never more than the coach though he knew a hell of a lot more than him in most cases).
but in this instance i am away at university, a 5 hour drive away, and they are each very busy at work.
