umm, let's see...it had to be back in the mid to late eighties.
i was at a club called gazzarri's on sunset hollywood. i may have been underage.
maybe it was 86 or 87. i can't really remember. i knew some people at his table.
he was nice. interesting. i'm not really a fan, but i was familiar with his music.

The line "I'm madly I anger with you" sounded cheesy when I first heard it but its so dang catchy and the way Hetfield sings it makes one believe in it and sound much cooler IMO.
