Well, I've been here in Mali for coming on to 3 months now. If you've read any of my recent journal entries, you'll know that I'm really enjoying my time here and am very happy. I found a picture that someone took during our Swearing-In Ceremony, so I thought I would attempt to post it. This is me as Koumba.

even my hub knows of the good work you are doing. he is reading Thor Hyderdahl's books at the moment and read me an excerpt about a peace corp worker in Africa( some years ago) who had an understanding with the locals and was going about his work of making wells even though there was war all around him.
