I'd take a listen if it dropped into my box.

so far my favourite album is "A tale of two cities" by "Mr. Hudson and The Library"

unless I'm forgetting something

and since I haven't heard the latest Zappa release "Buffalo" yet

even though "Wincing the night away" by The Shins would also be a strong contender

From the Arcade Fire fan site:

The National, whose new album, 'Boxer', is easily one of the year's best records, and whose past albums are amazing as well, will open the first part of the North American Tour:

05/01/07 Atlanta, GA Atlanta Civic Ctr. Theatre
05/02/07 Asheville, NC Thomas Wolfe Auditorium
05/04/07 Washington, DC DAR Constitution Hall
05/05/07 Upper Darby, PA Tower Theatre
05/07/07 New York, NY United Palace
05/08/07 New York, NY United Palace
05/09/07 New York, NY Radio City Music Hall

I'll be there on 5/1 in ATL in the tenth row!

Glad to see this thread hasn't sunk into the depths
I thought this might just appeal to U2 fans, and I do love it when people get all happy about music that I get all happy about.

It is definitely worth noting, as some have, that Alligator is an immense album, probably better than Boxer, but time will tell for sure.

And indeed The Cherry Tree EP is ridiculously good. All Dolled Up In Straps, Cherry Tree, About Today is currrently my favourite 3-song stretch on any recording.

And they're touring around the US soon so make note of that..

Unfortunately the song titles are mixed up. Good performances, though why they're on MTV is beyond me.

I'll be going to buy Boxer tomorry.
