When I lived in NYC I was playing electric guitar in a band named Lo Deya. A German, a Jew, a Puerto Rican, & an Irishman.

A mix only NYC could create. We played alot of shows in NYC and the surrounding area, and recorded
an album. We recorded this on the cheap($0.) by coming into the studio after everyone else left, and
recording from 12AM to 6AM. The engineer/producer was one of our best friends, and he had no problem
staying up all nite and recording. John P, I love you.

We got some nice reviews:

We split up last year. A shame, cause we were a great little pop/rock band. Really good times though.
Making music with other people is a wonderful thing, everyone should do it. Since we're not selling this
anymore, might as well give it away. Peira wrote most of this, she was a great singer, and kept getting
better and better at songwriting. I wrote #6 and #8 while pissed at an ex-girlfriend and with the aid of large
quantities of Guinness.

Support local music.

We recorded this in 2001.

I hadn't listened to for a few years.

Then I busted it out last nite and got all nostalgic.

A few songs in:

It really sounds pretty slick for six hours and $0. I like your singer too.

Songwritingwise, it's nice that you guys weren't afraid of a hook.

Yay for free music!

Thanks. We loved the pop. And Peira is an amazing talent.

I gave the wrong impression though, we did a weeks worth of 12-6 sessions.

We almost had a follow-up album. Here are the best of those sessions.

1. The Other Side (This tune was our masterpiece, I love the living hell out of this song)

I've just listened to the album, and I'm very impressed. Out of all of the orginal music I've heard written by Interferencers, this is by far my favourite. I really like "What Little I Know." Great lyrics. That second website mentions that it's the bassist singing on the song. I like his voice quite a lot. And your lead singer has a wonderful voice. Thank you for sharing! It's a pity about the split up...are you involved with any other bands at the moment?

I wrote that song! I'm glad you like it. :hyper:

One of the most surreal moments in my life was playing that song live, at Mercury Lounge in NYC, with Laura (the ex who inspired the song) sitting next to my mom (bless her for coming to see our big time show), sitting next to Chelsea (my future bride.) All 3 knew what the tune was about.

f-r-e-a-k-y.

I record by myself now, and sometimes swap licks with my brother (dudeman on this board) Digital recorders w/ built in drum machines are a wonderful thing.
