* Ten -Pearl Jam

Well, with all you listed, I think you might like my "angry music"...or so that's what I called it in college.........
SOUNDGARDEN!!!!!
OK, maybe that's because I'm here in Seattle, maybe I'm a bit biased, but it truly is excellent music.
Superunknown, The Best of album(I think it's called A-Sides) that's all you really need

My friend,

you ever hear of VAST??
Very good industrial rock. The lyrics are not totally angst but the music is really really good and the lyrics will get you thinking.

The Smashing Pumpkins. As angst as angst can be.
Get Simease Dream.
Billy Corgans voice is an aquired taste, however.

ALICE IN CHAINS!!!
Get anything, these guys are everything your looking for and more!!!! much more!!

My favorite lately (since Layne died) is Alice in Chains Unplugged. His voice sounds absolutely amazing. I think there is a song called Sludge Factory on it which is one of the best songs I have ever heard.

Check it out.

Get out of the 90s!

I mean, early 90s grunge was good and all... but try to expand a bit. Get some Radiohead. Try some Yo La Tengo. Check out Fiona Apple. Or Jeff Buckley. Look into Starflyer 59. Pick up Leonard Cohen.

Try new genres, new eras, new sounds!

definitely Jeff Buckley

And if you don't own Radiohead's "The Bends" and "OK Computer", you need to RUN not walk to your local music store and buy them immediately!
