Just got back from Nashville and an item in the local newspaper in the Music section.......people are wondering what is keeping rock concerts such as U2's from appearing there. Seems people are clamoring for concerts, have a forum and a stadium and yet the Madonnas and all the rest by-pass Nashville.

Maybe perhaps it's just the Music Capital of the USA.......or maybe they think it's just a "hick town". Let me stress..........there is MORE MUSIC in Nashville being played and written every single day than anywhere else in America.

It's too bad...rock just doesn't realize it.....or perhaps just doesn't care...including U2.

Isn't Nashville also pretty big news for smaller rock bands? Maybe I'm thinking unsigned or just signed bands.

I think most of the middle of the country gets missed by the really large acts though.
