Give me life
Give me pain
Give me my self again
Give me life
Give me pain
Give me my self again

Later in these repetitions it sounds like she's saying "Give me a knife!"

It was the summer between my sophomore and junior years of High School and I was going through typical teenage angst things (I had my first serious crush on a girl and I was just slightly confused about stuff, ya know?)

Well, that summer I discovered a little album called Born to Run.

I listened to it EVERY night that summer before going to bed. It practically saved my life.

It's in my top 5 albums of all-time and it always will be. Darkness is second when it comes to Bruce, though.
I say BTR is my favorite, but it's like TUF for me, I'll say it's my favorite, then I won't listen to it for a while and start to wonder if it's really my favorite. Then I go back and listen to it again . For me the biggest problem I have with calling BTR a favorite is Meeting Across the River. When an album has only 8 songs, you don't want to go having one on there you dislike as much as I do Meeting. I hate complaining lol, I always talk about what I don't like, but what I DO like, is everything else . Sure yeah, 10th Av's a little goofy, but Thunder Road, BTR, Night, Backstreets, She's the One, Jungleland, HELL YES!. So yeah, I'm sure BTR is my favorite, I just try not to overdo it, playing it to much and such, cause I played it a LOT after I first got it.

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."
