does anyone here know of a program that can capture a streaming video file?

right clicking the link only saves me the shortcut to the streaming file.

i am doing an analysis of general electric advertising and need to get their new olympic ads onto a disc

It saves them as .avi files (if you want, you can convert those to .mpeg files).

I think they (HyperCam) put their logo in the corner of everything you save, so that may not be what you're looking for, but it's worth a shot.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, there's a shareware version for download, and you can register for $30.
