Nevermind is one of the most over-rated albums of all time

the Pixies were doing what Nirvana were doing in the freakin' 80's

as for the list...it's horrible...absolutely horrible. I imagine 4 or 5 bands actually deserve to be recognized there

mtv2 actuall plays rock videos. they have the headbangers ball a rock countdown and alot of rock stuff.where mtv plays TRL , real world shit et hahahahah.

crapy bands like linkin park, limp bizkit made the list just to keep the new gen kinds happy. just to stay hip(if ya know what i mean)
because all these mindless bands do sell alot of records

oh at this Guns n Roses forum people are also talking about this list and they are saying u2 should be no 1.
like it or not u2 were big in the 80s war and JT. 90s u2 were huge AB and the rock show that is called ZOOTV.and still they are making good music if not better than their previous work.
and nirvana, if im right, 1990 to 1994. and they are no 1

i actually find no problem with this list what-so-ever. sure, there are some bands on there that i don't care for... the limp bizkits of the world... but let's face it, there's a lot of people out there who DO like these bands, as diluted as they may be for doing so. So i've got no problem with it at all. Actually much more agreeable than most of the other lists that MTV and VH1 throw out there.

I think that's a pretty good list and I'm glad to see it's not full of bland, manufactured type bands.

Depeche Mode should be in there though IMO.

I thought that this list is ok. Just ok. Nothing wrong with it or anything, but I think that they should have added some other bands in there also. I really don't know who yet, but there is some bands out there that are better than bands like Oasis (just to name names for no reason).

The top five seem reasonable, although I think that at this very moment, Radiohead are the best band in the world. When I saw Linkin Park at 6, that's when I stopped reading.
