When I look back at the chair scene in Casino Royale I think more about Bond's hilarious one-liner than the discomfort of the scene.

But I will definitely second the thoughts of those of you who say that watching certain sex scenes with the parents can be pretty damn awkward and uncomfortable. Especially when I was younger.

For me, there are very few things more disturbing than watching that rat/bear/dog creature give head to that guy in the Shining.
I mean, fuck.
I saw that movie for the first time on Fox or something during the day when I was a young teenager, or just before getting into my teens.

I thought the movie was creepy (and this being a cut version), but I was able to watch...until that scene.

I didn't know what the heck was going on, but it just felt so uncomfortable and freaky. That image stayed with me for a couple of days.

Now when I see it, I'm just like "It's just a bear/pig thingy giving head, no big deal"

Jeez, I don't even remember that!

How about the entire first half hour of "Saving Private Ryan"? I almost left!

"Don't...ever...stop...FUCKING ME!!!"

I was 12. My mom and I thought it was a football movie, so she took me for my birthday.

She insisted we leave about half an hour into it. She was pissed, about both that scene and the language.

I did get to see "Show me the money", though, and laughed my ass off.

The sex scenes I find to be uncomfortable even when I am alone is when the actors are actual couples off screen. Movies like Eyes Wide Shut, Cruel Intentions, etc make my skin scrawl because you're seeing what they actually do (or did) in private, and its embarassing. Even if the two actors eventually break-up its still uncomfortable because you see what they used to do.

That just made me cringe reading it, I think that's the only time I've turned my head at a movie...

The torture scene in Swimming With Sharks, with Kevin Spacey.

And the part in Pet Semetary when the possessed kid slices Herman Munster's foot, ugh.

Haha hell yes! Pet Sematary - one of the all-time greatest unintentionally funny movies. Good call.

One for me, is the scene in "Juno" where she and Mark start talking about how he feels trapped in his marriage and then they start slow dancing. It really made my friends and I uncomfortable out, but I think that was the goal.

Shit, I'd forgotten aaaaall about that scene.... :massiveshudder:

Also the acid-on-the hand thing scene in Fight Club.

And also if anyone's seen Dirty Sanchez... a lot of that but mostly when they think it'd be a sweet idea to have liposuction - unanaesthetitised - and then drink the contents. Not sure I'll get over that.

two girls in a cup anyone??

Yeah, I was actually having a great time with the film until then (Jack Nicholson makes anything funny, including homicide). Whoever created that costume is an evil bastard and I want him brought to justice.

That's exactly what Dalton tells himself when he's with Lance's Mom.

For me, I'd have to say Last Tango in Paris: Marlon Brando + Maria Schneider + butter = EWWWW.

And anything I watch with my Uncle Leon. Though it usually doesn't have anything to do with the movie.

The rape scene in The Accused- any rape scene really but that one was just so completely disturbing, probably because it was based on a true story and the true circumstances were so shocking.

Graphic violence makes me extremely uncomfortable-and most graphic sex scenes, the way Hollywood does those tends to feel so awkward and unappealing.

Yeah it is...but that ankle scene makes me cringe every time. Book scared the crap out of me though.

Speaking of Stephen King movies...what about the "hobbling" scene in Misery?
